  A chimney question... Who does one call to find out if their chimney is safe to use - structurally/ fire code-wise? (I know a good chimney sweep, but am guessing it's not a sweep we need?) It is our first winter in our house and it's something we completely forgot to ask about when we moved in! Thank you, knowledgable CP'ers!

  We used these guys last year to come and inspect our chimney to see if usable. Had to have a cap removed and the chimney swept then we were good to go. Very friendly and no dust or mess! http://www.whiteschimneyspecialists.co.uk/

  Hi Vicky, Give Whites Chimney Specialists a call, they are a family run company. We had them fit our dual fuel fire a couple of years ago and were very efficient, friendly and cleaned up really well.
