My first two designs are now at home in the new secret gardens at the Mill at Gordleton Hotel Restaurant in Sway. The gardens are free to look around and contain lots of great art work by local artists, for contact details visit www.themillatgordleton.co.uk. By making these items, they have inspired me to explore my ability to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary, by using items and materials found around my home and family grounds to make visually interesting and stunning pieces that also have a practical use . Where possible I try and use salvaged materials such as old copper pipe and water cylinders for my water features and gates. Wood destined for the log store I use to make my individual gates and other items like my card stand. I’m also starting to make my newly designed gate mushroom hinges and gate latches these take the form of different animals like my foxes head, squirrel eating a nut, a horse’s head to name a few that I’ll be making. If your interested in any items or would like to commission a piece please send me a email
Rumour has it I'm looking for someone to make me a custom made weather vane - anyone know of someone local? I can get it made in Wales, but hopefully there is someone nearer!
