About us
My name is Kevin Wyllie and I really hate talking about myself - I'd much rather hide behind my camera. However, I feel that it's important to let you know a wee bit about the person who you're considering booking as your photographer. So, here goes (unless you're bored already and want to skip to the summary at the bottom of the page):
I am one of only two wedding photographers in the World who have been chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Cotton Carrier (www.cottoncarrier.com) - a small team of only nine photographers across the World from different genres. My work has been published internationally in books & magazine covers and I have won over 40 national awards for my wedding, portraiture & pet photography. Some of the high profile people I have been fortunate enough to photograph include HM Queen Elizabeth (at Buckingham Palace), HRH The Duke of Kent (at St James' Palace, London), Donald Trump, Alex Salmond, Nicola Sturgeon and a long list of international athletes and music stars. I am also a member of Fearless Photographers, which is a collective of photographers who constantly strive to push the creative boundaries of wedding photography.
At the end of 2015, I was named as one of the Top 3 in the Guild of Professional Photographers Wedding Photographer of the Year competition, which involved photographers entering images each month, and attracted over 10,000 entries from the UK and overseas. I have also a been a Confetti Awards Finalist, one of the Top 8 photographers in the Scottish Wedding Awards finals, and British Vogue magazine described me as "...a visionary photographer who can make your big day that little bit more special". So, no pressure for Kev there then!
For wedding storybooks and albums I believe that only the highest quality hand-crafted Italian books from Graphistudio are good enough for my brides. Each one, custom-designed by me, is created to your specifications, from almost 40 million different options, by the World's foremost supplier of... show more bespoke wedding books and albums.
