  Looking for a good beer bar In town for the Dodger series but I'm looking for somewhere to watch the Liverpool game tomorrow afternoon. So I wanted to come here to see if you guys had good suggestions for a good beer bar in the downtown area that has some decent food and could watch the game at or at least a sports bar that has a good selection of beers from local breweries.   If you're looking for both local beers and soccer in the same place, the only answer is [Piper's Pub](http://www.piperspub.com/). It's a gem of an English-style pub with great food, and one of the only places you can reliably go for soccer games. It's in Southside, which is just across the river from downtown. Enjoy your time in the city!
