Hey! I'm looking at doing some fitness classes for the first time in my life!!! I battle with depression and anxiety and I've always been slack on exercise, it's the one thing I haven't tired to help my mental health. So I'm getting brave and giving it a go. I don't have image problems, so it's not that I care what I look like, I just have no interest in fitness. It's more to do with improving my everyday battle with myself I don't want a gym where it's all about "show", I also don't want a personal trainer. I just want to join in with some classes, not too intense. It would need to be after 4.30 Saturday morning. Has anyone had any experience with good gym classes? Or taken the same leap to help their mental health?
I'm posting anonymously as I want to try something in private without anyone knowing so I can build my confidence and my friends won't laugh! -I'm really not a gym person
