  Hello Folks. What is the standard pricing in the area for guitar set ups? Steve and I paid about $25 in Minneapolis (lots of quality shops around) and were just quoted about $75. That seems steep to us - but we don't know the culture and competition here. Also, in your opinions, who are the top guitar electronic repair folks in the area (cost and expertise) and why? We prefer to work directly with the tech than to have the shop send it out. We are looking at gutting the wiring of our Gibson ES 345 TD Stereo (the old wiring is funky and malfunctioning) and rewiring to standard ES 335. We've had one person look at it, but we wouldn't mind getting to know our options before we commit. Thank you in advance for recommendations.
