Small job, painting bathroom, toilet, two small walls , internal doors and frames. We were not happy with the job. There was a lack of preparation. Did not want to remove door knobs or loosen power points in order to paint around them properly - we had to do that ourselves. Also seemed to do very little sanding/preparation of doors which had very old yellow paint on them - we are concerned the paint will chip off fairly easily. Each day we had a list of things we were concerned about but Shaun was rarely there, had to explain to his worker. Issues were - brush hair on walls, small holes in ceiling not filled before painting, paint runs down door frames, paint missing around edges, corners etc. Shaun never seemed to inspect the work done by his employee and never came to us at the end of the job to see if we were satisfied. Shaun’s quote was twice that of our second quote. We chose him because he talked the talk and assured us of a quality job. Wish we had taken the other quote. We undertook our pre-settlement inspection today and I've just realised the wall paper and paint work is in very bad condition! It looks like a squatter house, ha ha.
