  So, if my wife and I wanted come up to Moab, for the first time, when other than EJS, is a good time to do that ? We want to do some wheeling, and other touristy things. Is it ALWAYS crowded if it's not too cold or too hot ? Also, any recommendations for an affordable cabin ( preferably ) or hotel that is pet friendly ? Thanks for your insight.

  Here are some links http://moabadventurecenter.com/lodging/ The yurts at Dead Horse State Park if they have vacancy. Not sure if they are pet friendly.
