  Recommend me a dentist for an autistic minor. My nephew is autistic and 3 years old. He urgently needs a cavity filled, and his family is currently on OW. Healthy Smiles has told his mother they cannot take him and he should go to CHEO, which has a 5wk waiting list. Can anyone recommend a dentist who is a) good with high needs patients b) accepts patients on OW? UPDATE: he has an appointment booked for November with CHEO which is a long time to wait for a little dude with a bad toothache. We would like to find somewhere to accomodate him sooner, but do have something scheduled at least.

  You should really take a look at my dentist.. .his name is Dr Alan Murray and he's on Carling at I think Maintland or Woodroofe. I will admit, he's my parent's neighbour but he's also my family dentist but I am recommending him because he's soooooo patient, good with kids and provides the best CARE of his patients I have ever seen. I have a feeling he'd be a good fit for your nephew... not sure about OW but honestly, call the office, explain your situation and ask. (613) 820-9300. ​ ​ ​ ​

  After almost 30 years of seeing the same AMAZING Dentist, I am now looking for a new one :( I live in the deep West End of Ottawa and work in the Hunt Club Road area. My preference would be somewhere in the West end, but I am willing they come highly recommended. Here's the hitch .. I need a Dentist that will work with Insurance Companies. Backstory: I adore my current Dentist. My kids and Husband also go to him. But unfortunately I found out just today that they will no longer submit bills to the Insurance Company; the patient must pay up front. Now, I don't know about anyone else, but I certainly can't afford to put the money out, no matter how low the cost or how quickly I'll get reimbursed. So, that's my criteria. Can you help?
