  A question for our North Slope neighbors: we are hoping to finish our attic, possibly with dormers. Does anyone have a favorite architect/engineer so that we can get plans drawn up for our contractor? We contacted one already but he might be too busy. Thanks!

  Jeff Ryan. 253-759-0161. He designed a new garage/carriage house for us. He did an amazing job, contractors have loved his plans, and he made the design process easy and interesting. He is sensitive to the look and feel of historic houses, and he lives in the North End, so he understands our neighborhoods.
