I am looking for recommendations of where to buy produce. We make our own baby food and go through a lot of fruits and vegetables, but Safeway can get pricey. There are a lot of farms around, so who would you recommend for quality and price? Thanks!

If you prefer delivery, Terra Organics is great. We've used them for years. Weekly deliveries and good selection.

Bottom line, good produce is expensive. We juice a lot and finding good produce is hard! We've done Terra Organics, and farms. But when it comes to convenance and need you're stuck with local stores an lack of quality. Let's face it you really can't buy bulk vegetables because half of it will spoil by the time you need it. Best of luck
Another question, neighbors : since growing all my own veggies seems impractical this year, does anyone have a recommendation for a good CSA? Preferably one with a close location for picking up boxes. Thanks!

Also love Tahoma Farms. They deliver / drop off through Terra Organics during season and off season you can still get produce from them and other farms through them too. Home delivery I think is a $5 fee or lots of local pick.up sites. http://terra-organics.com/

Terra Organics will deliver to your door and used to deliver to Bluebeard coffee. Not sure if they still do!

I just got a Farm Guide-here are the certified organic farms - don't have prices though, and don't know if all have berries or if you have to join CSA to get produce from them -- Sidhu -15018 96 th st Puyallup (253)377-7845 Stewart-Eatonville (253)219-2540 Tahoma-21108 Orville Rd E, Orting (253)627-1581 Wilcox-40400 Harts Lake Valley Rd, Roy (360)458-6598 Wild Hare-520 River Rd Puyallup (253)922-1604 Zestful-corner of 50 th Ave E and 40 th St E, Tacoma (253)232-0811
