  I would also suggest the drug store in beautiful downtown Bessemer City. It's one of the oldest in the area and was recently featured in Our State Magazine. Central Drug 112 West Virginia Avenue, Bessemer City (704) 629-2163 Here's what the article in "Our State" magazine said,"This 1920 s-era soda fountain has been Bessemer City’s first-date central for more than 80 years." They also make a great fresh "Orang-ade" that I've been wanting to try!
