  Traditional Japanese Tattoo Artist Recommendation I've been searching the past few weeks trying to find Traditional Japanese Tattoo Artists in Edmonton. I've found two so far: [Shawn Hedley](http://www.championtattoo.ca/shawn-hedley-1/) and [Guka](https://blackgoldtattoo.ca/section/436900-Guka.html). They both seem alright from their portfolios, personally I prefer Guka's work, but I'm not sold on either yet. An artist outside of Edmonton I really love the work of is [Horitomo](https://www.instagram.com/horitomo_stateofgrace/), but San Jose is too far for me to travel for a tattoo. I would love to find someone with a style more similar to theirs locally. Two things I like about their style are the cats, and depth achieved between the main images and background. Does anyone have experience with Shawn or Guka? Or have any other recommendations for Traditional Japanese Tattoo Artists in Edmonton? Or possibly close to Edmonton, like Calgary or Red Deer?   Classic tattoos has been voted number one for 5 years in a row. Every artist in there is THE best around here which is obvious if they have been voted number one that much. Been going there myself for 10 years now
