  I'm looking for a good boarding fit in central Texas and would prefer east of Austin if possible. I have a 16.3 OTTB who is fairly green, but well-behaved. I plan to bring him up through the levels. We need a scenario where he is fed separately because he's still in racehorse metabolism mode and I don't want him fighting for food, but ample turnout is essential as well. He's definitely beta on the totem pole and has very thin skin so I would prefer a turnout situation where the other pasture buddies do not have rear shoes. I have over 20 years experience riding, but have not done anything competitive in Austin, although I've lived here for 7+ years. I would prefer to spend less than $350/mo. in board, but want to be with other riders who challenge me. Please PM me if you have any good ideas or suggestions. Thank you!

If you think you'd want to swing it, check out www.gallopingspringsranch.com We offer all day group or individual turn out, have two trainers on the property, 72 acres, regularly host clinics, and love working with all breeds of horses. We have a close group of boarders and have a lot of fun supporting each other.
