My car was "keyed" & now I see rust -
Any suggestions for a reliable & affordable body shop?
Maaco would be perfect but to far away

Leo's Body Shop at 5871 N Ridge . . . more info . . . Ask for George (Leo’s son) 773-764-5555. http://www.leosbodyshop.com/ http://www.yelp.com/biz/leos-body-shop-chicago - I had several recommendations for this shop and they did a great job for me!
My husband got into a minor fender bender last night (everyone is fine!) but the car needs some fairly substantial work. Anyone have a body shop in the area they recommend, or recommend we avoid?

I recommend Leo’s Body Shop at 5971 N. Ridge. Ask for George (Leo’s son) 773-764-5555. I was referred to this shop by several of my colleagues who had wonderful experiences - and I also had a great experience. The first time I visited, I couldn't afford the REAL repair (or wasn't willing to afford it ;)), so George used some paint to make my car look a lot better (free) and sent me on my way. The next time I had a boo boo, he gave me a great price and they did a wonderful job (and fixed the original boo boo for a reduced price). Car looks brand new! Highly recommended.
