  I have used the same firm since 1987 for two major remodelings and general handyman maintenance. The work was done under the two-hour minimum charge, so cost $190 plus whatever the hasps cost. I have an extension ladder already in the closet where the hatch is located, a savings of the time and effort of lugging and long extension ladder up four flights would have entailed. Parking could be an issue if you don't have it. The firm I use is Hopkins & Porter, specifically their Handyman Division: 301-840-9121 X25. Suzanne Legault
