  Can anybody recommend a good place to get a Philly cheese steak in KC other than Chartroose and Steak'em? My mom really wants one. The best place to get one used to be at a hotdog place off of Holmes and 135th St. But, they closed about four years ago. One bite, and I was transported back to Jersey and Philly in the 80's. They made cheese steaks better than how they're making them back east now. It was so perfectlly old school. The owners were super friendly, too. Unfortunately, their place was a used car lot the last time I drove past. :-(
