From Wisbech Road, turn left onto Crown Lane and at the traffic light turn left onto High Street. Following High Street as it continues on into Victoria Lane, all the way to the railway crossing, we are situated just past the it on the left. Alternatively if you are travelling down Ely Road, once you’ve reached the traffic lights junction where Crown Lane and High Street intersect, it is the same principle; turn right and follow through to just past the railway crossing. From Branch Bank, or New River Bank, you cross a handsome modern bridge at the T junction leading into Littleport and we are to the right immediately before the railway crossing.
The Swan on the River is a riverside pub with an open, friendly and home-made atmosphere. A place where you can eat an intimate meal with friends or come for a relaxed celebration. We have all local people in our team here and take great pride in our food and the service we provide.
We strive to produce only fresh products, unlike other local restaurants in the Cambridgeshire and Norfolk area. We are developing a British menu with local ingredients, where possible. We believe in the produce of Britain, and that home grown is the best grown, maintaining that it is more enjoyable for our customers, knowing that our food is made with the produce of their fine country.
