  http://highlandfarmstay.com.au/ - We stayed here a couple of years ago and it was beautiful. It's a working farm, they took us on a ute ride around the farm, we fed animals daily, checked for eggs. They have a couple of accommodation options and all are self contained.

  We stayed here at Easter - http://www.highlandlodge.net.au Our kids had a ball - feeding the horses, toasting marshmallows, collecting eggs each morning and enough room to ride bikes and explore! Will be going back again.

  family farm stay holiday in May? ----- Hi canberra mums! I'm thinking about taking our family on a farm stay holiday in May and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions or recommendations on a good place to go. We will have a 6 year old, 2 year old and 8 week old. Any other season appropriate suggestions also welcome, we love camping but would need it to be somewhere with plenty to keep us all busy as it's not a great time for swimming/Beach stuff.   Highly recommend Highland Farmstay near Jindabyne. We were there recently with three children (1, 6 and 10). We stayed in the one bedroom unit which was more like a two bedroom unit with a queen bed and 4 singles plus your own kitchen and bathroom. My boys loved it. They even had a highchair and baby bath plus bikes for my two boys. We took along a portacot for the one year old. The children loved all the animals and collecting fresh eggs in the morning to cook. http://www.highlandlodge.net.au/
