  Another renovation question for people in the know: If a one-story addition was built without the intention of going up a level, how doable is it to add a 2nd story on top? Could the 1st floor remain intact or would it have to go bare bones to add support for the 2nd level? Does anyone know an architect/engineer type who could evaluate the scope of work/cost involved?

  Green House Renovations, Tom Colquitt from Avondale. He added screen porch to our house and just finished renovating our Master bath. Great to work with. 770-527-7148. We got several estimates for both jobs and Tom was referred to us by Renewal who only do bigger jobs. Can't say enough. Reasonable too.
