I have to board my almost two year old Lab for 5 days. I've only boarded a dog once several years ago and it was a bad experience. Does anyone have any first-hand knowledge and recommendations for a safe , cleanish, and happy place to board my best friend ?

FROM A FAN: Hi...hope you can help. I am looking for some recommendations for dog groomers in the area preferably Marshfield, Pembroke, Hanover, Kingston...Thanks!
Any recommendations for a local, reasonable dog groomer that can handle a VERY energetic but supremely friendly golden retriever? I think she needs a solid bath and trim for her 4th birthday! Used to get it done at her daycare in Hingham but I am not working up there now. Thanks!

Recommendations for a local doggie daycare?? Looking to put my puppy in to keep him socialized with dogs and to have options for him to be somewhere having fun when we do day trips etc. Any info is appreciated! I'm wondering rates hourd and if you have to have set days or if they can just go sporadically ?? Thank u in advance!! Also pm me if there is somewhere that I should absolutely avoid! Thanks :)

Hi I have an almost 6 month old puppy who we are looking for doggie day care as well as overnight boarding recommendations. The two don't have to be the same place. Thanks so much.

Lea at The Dog's Den, 826-7008. She or one of her employees bring your dog to their own homes or sometimes stay overnight at the Dog's Den. My senior golden retriever loves her.
Any recommendations for a dog kennel in the Pembroke area?

Thanks Denise! Sharon, The Dogs' Den staff takes dogs into their own homes & treat them as their own. Call Lea at 781-826-7008 for info. She helped me out when I had my serious accident last year & took my golden retriever. They are very reasonable & I never worried about Reggie. He still goes there to see them as he loves them all so much.
Would anyone be able to recommend a dog kennel/over night "day care?" & any ideas on price.
I'm attending a wedding Saturday and I don't have anyone who could watch him while ill be gone for 8+ hours.
Thanks :)

FYI, The Dog's Den can take your dog overnight. Call Lea, the owner at 781-826-7008. EIther Lea or one of her employees can usually take your family pet. She has taken my dog, Reggie, many times & treats them as her own. Reggie loves her.
