Looking for a barefoot trimmer who can also shoe if necessary: I posted this a few weeks back but didn't save the responses and now cannot retrieve them (sorry, it was a momentary brain freeze). I have two horses in Zebulon that are both barefoot. One will never need shoes (great feet and he isn't ridden) and one has had shoes in the recent past (before I got him) but we are trying to keep him barefoot if possible. He may need shoes in the future so I would like someone who is a great barefoot trimmer and is equally adept at shoeing if needed. It's really important that the trimmer/farrier be willing to work in a team approach for the overall health and well-being of the horses. Recommendations?
