  I am looking for affordable vet care for my 7 yr old mini schnauzer. I've bee going to Broadway vet but for 2nd time way too much money. Thinking of Banafield cuz of wellness plan. I sm senior on limited income with increasing medical costs. Looking at dental (done 18 months for close to $300) now they want $400. And His recent annual with 12 month flea protection was $800.   I need some referrals for vets in the area. I'm still worried about my miniature schnauzer boy, he's still not back to normal and I don't have an established vet up here yet. Took him to Pilchuck emergency Sunday night, all of his vitals checked out fine and he was sent home without any further diagnostics and the possibility that it could be because of degenerative hip or spine issues. He's rested since Sunday but is still lethargic, not eating (does drink water and urinates outside) his breathing seems shallow or labored and his belly is hard and a bit distended. I would like to get him into a vet soon, but like most all of us budget is a factor. I'm sure he'll need either blood tests or radiology, if not both on top of the initial exam, any ideas on what it will run so I can budget and/or attempt to apply for care credit, and the best bet for a vet? Thank you in advance.
