  You could try calling "Grand Slam VW Aircooled Services" 021 845 6702. Ask Juergen for Paul Cochrane's number, he does Kombi hire. Also Shawn Webb's number he does this too. Bear in mind as it is Martic Farewell season, they may already be booked up. One of the guys is sure to help you out though. Good luck, if I were in SA I would help you myself :)

Not all workshops like working on these older models because parts are not always readily available

  Don't use Pro-Beetle, he is one big shark, I know a few people has done in. Go to Gran Slam (Jurgen 021 845 6702) He is a german that only works on VW.
