James Fowler Physical Therapy is an oasis located in the heart of Union Square, NYC. Our practice is built around the idea that all of our patients deserve personal attention, one-on-one treatment, and highly specialized physical therapy rarely offered by other PT practices in Manhattan. We strive to not only solve the immediate condition of each patient, but to get to the root of the problem and ensure that the condition will not recur by educating each person about their body and movements.
NYC friends: Do any of y'all have a sports medicine doc/orthopedist that you recommend? Maybe one who works a lot with dancers?

Orthopedic and Sports Rehabilitation Lisa Bartoli, DO 646-935-2255 Center for Health and Healing 245 Fifth Avenue *She was my (nationally competitive) rugby team's doctor, The official doc of the USA team, has treated many of my dearest friends and teammates (saved me from a brain bleed and spine surgery), and as I recall was treating dancers before her reputable foray with elite athletes (people traveled from across the country to see her). She is also eastern minded (incorporates acupuncture, craniosacral, massage, etc). AND is very thorough diagnostician. She evaluates the entire body along with a primary condition. And she is so deeply authentically nice. She sent me to the following PT (which for certain specializes in dancers): James Fowler, (212) 253-9383 - union squarea.
