When I initially talked to Sarah, I was really happy because I thought she got me and got my vision. After our initial conversation and when she received the full balance, I could not get a hold of her very easily. I was surprised I didn't receive any follow up from her, not even to confirm she received my payment. I didn't have her number and she doesn't have it on her website. I decided to email her as I wanted to ask if she could add a bout that I had forgotten about. It took so long for her to email that I was super stressed... I had almost no communication with her since the initial conversation and I just felt uneasy. She eventually got back to me and said she would make the changes, but in a way that didn't really make me feel any better.
On the day of my wedding What I got was NOTHING like what we had discussed. I initially sent her a picture of a Statement bouquet that was huge, and cascading. I said I don't care about the cost. I want it huge and bold colours. I don't want it tight in a neat classic bouquet style. She said "Oh. I don't do that .."
Anyways, my bouquet was about the size of what I had imagined my bridesmaids to have. And the bridesmaids bouquets were a joke, like you can't even call them bouquets. Not only that, but it wasn't cascade.. it was neat in a classic shape with a few weird hangy things.. (don't know what they were Not flowers, not leaves. Didn't go at all.) Also I had said I wanted my bridesmaids flowers to be a different colour than mine, but they were the same. Same colours just mini versions. The flowers themselves were so small as well, like seriously baby flowers. You couldn't get further from statement bouquet if you tried.
I had asked for bouts for the guys and 2 corsages and a tiny mini bout for my 3 year old son. The tiny baby bout turned out to be the universal size. All of the bouts were the size of what I had imagined my son to wear. Which I guess isn't surprising as they were the same in my bouquet. I was embarrassed giving this to my 6'4" father... It looked pathetic. Like we cheaped out on flowers, which from her prices I really didn't think I did.
Again, I had asked her to differenciate between the groom and groomsmen, if not with colour bthen so his had more of statement. (something extra)I also had asked for the 2 corsages and one bout to be white. Again. everything came in one colour. She also gave me an extra corsage?
As if this wasn't all bad enough. The bouts were all wilted and dead by the end of the ceremony. My husbands was so bad he had to take his off for our wedding photos. And my bouquet was also looking fairly wilted by the afternoon.
I wasn't planning to say anything because the rest of my day was amazing. But 2 months later I still feel so upset about it. I'm going to get my wedding photos back soon, and I'm honestly worried about seeing the flowers in them. I have so much regret for choosing to go with Kaye Fleur and I hope no one else has a similar experience to this.
