About us
Our inspiration for the present Restaurant stems from the buildings history.
Believed to be the second oldest building in South East Queensland , Jimboomba House was constructed of hand sawn red wood planks and completed in 1845. The "house" originally served as a homestead, stage coach depot and holding yards for the famous pioneering Cobb and Co stage coach company. Originally known as Gimboomba House the building was later shifted approximately 1km and re sited in its current location where it now forms part of the Hills International Golf complex- the farm building and barn still remain on the original site.
