We accept donations of good furniture, bikes, computers, electrical appliances, DIY and homemaking items. We always need volunteers to help co-ordinate and to collect and deliver furniture, but there are lots of admin and professional roles that we could also use help with. Does anyone know of charities other than St Luke's or Heart Foundation that can collect and then sell furniture? Or anywhere else that woud take them? A family member has two large bookshelves (nearly floor to ceiling), 4 dining chairs and a small corner unit with cupboard in all in dark oak to go but the charities don't seem to want them as they have too many bookshelves / dark oak not fashionable etc. Thank you.
