About us
Kia ora, I am Sharon. Owner and founder of Little Ferns Childcare.
I am married to Stu Lange and have 3 beautiful girls 17,14 and 9 years old. I enjoy taking photos, and will be using my camera allot at my centre!
I have over 10 years of Early Childhood experience, as a teacher on the floor and also the administration.
I have my degree in Early Childhood. I believe building and maintaining reciprocal and positive relationships are important with all children and their families/whanau and my teaching team. Being a mother of 3 girls, I have empathy for children, and set out for children to feel safe and secure in their environment, feeling as though they belong and have a place at the centre.
Little Ferns caters for all children under the age of 6. We offer 20 hours FREE ECE for 3 years and over.
WINZ subsidies will be available also.
Little Ferns Childcare provide for families/whānau and their children a friendly, fun, homely environment. We aim to have a shared vision, collective and collaborative relationships with staff, whānau and the community.
The centre will provide an environment rich in experiences where nature and natural beauty are respected and valued.

Current kindy I feel is expensive after the 20 free ECE hours, still pay $65 after 20free and shes only booked in for 31.5hrs. Can someone please give me suggestions for cheaper kindys?
