Edgewater Animal Shelter is a local non-profit organization that takes in unwanted and stray pets. Provides needed medical care and finds homes or appropriate rescues. We also provide low-cost veterinary care, shot clinics and medications.

We most definitely allow the adoption of multiple dogs at once- in fact, we have a bonded pair of beagles that we are trying to get out together!! This little guy named Sketch was found running around stray by a good samaritan and brought in to the shelter rather than let him get run over around Carter's Motel on Hwy 1. His tags have 2 numbers on them but neither number was good.
