  We built a pool 2 years ago and went with Shasta after getting quotes from 6 other companies and they weren't the most expensive or the cheapest but I like the sale guys a lot and loved that they are a family owned company. It took longer than I planned but it was built during the winter so it didn't matter to me how long it took. If it was to do it over again I would build it myself using the help of www.byop.net now that I have seen it done and know what goes into it I would be confident in anyones ability to build it yourself with their help and save tons of money too!
