About us
Little Appleseed Learning Center is owned and operated by Beth Vislosky. Beth has over 20 years of experience working with many different children in various roles, such as a babysitter, a nanny, head teacher, Assistant Director and Director. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and has completed the Director's Credential and CDA program. Beth received many rewarding recognitions throughout her career including being awarded the Early Education of the Year Award in 2005. Her most recent position was at a Nationally recognized Child Care Facility as a Director for over 8 years. At that location she was able maintain their 4 Star Keystone Stars status and their NAEYC accreditation. Beth was also able to meet and exceed all expectations for the State requirements. She has worked for both a corporate company as well as an individually owned child care location. Her variety of experience is with all ages ranging from birth to 13. Beth is up to date and very knowledgeable about licensing requirements, grant opportunities and accreditation's.
Little Appleseed Learning Center is a brand new building. It is a safe and secure learning center that provides child care for children from 6 weeks old to 5 years old. We have a staff of teachers who are highly educated and trained. Our 5 learning center rooms will be used to educate our children and enhance their love for learning. Our creative curriculum helps teachers to be effective teachers and enhances children's skills and knowledge. We make learning fun!
One of the main priorities at our school is the safety and well-being of our children, we have a secure entrance in the vestibule. We require thumbprint access and will only authorize parents and teachers to enter the building.

We also have a unique indoor play space. Our 1000 square foot indoor gymnasium space for children to play in is perfect for when the weather doesn't permit them to go outside. When the weather is nice the children can play outside in our fenced in playground that consist of rubber and artificial turf. The playground is sectioned off for children between the ages of infants to 2 1/2 and the other side will be for children between the ages of 2 1/2 and 5 years old. We have various fun and interactive outdoor toys for them along with a bike path!
