About us
About Me: Beginning at the age of 13 I have cared for children with no relation, my employer's children, friend's children, and family members including my nephew with special needs and my own 5 children. I have raised my step-daughter since she was 7, who is now 21. My other children are 15, 12, 6, and 4. I was a nanny for 3 years and some of the responsibilities included cooking, feeding, shopping, making sure the children made it to their special events, picking them up from school, and helping with homework. I ran my own home child care services for several years before deciding to go back to school for Education. I have taken college courses in Child Development, Nutrition, and Early Childhood Education. My child care is based upon Christian values and I believe children are precious gifts that God has given us to love and protect. Therefore, all of the children I care for are extremely PRECIOUS to me. Seeing them grow and learn is such a blessing! I love interacting with them. I enjoy playing and taking myself to their level so we can use our imaginations! Some of my favorite things to do are crafts, coloring, singing, and listening to music while dancing and being silly. As much as I love to have fun, I'll take that and incorporate it into learning, teaching skills needed for a great head start.
