Camp PossAbility is a one week summer camp designed specifically for young adults ages 18 to 35 who have a typical high school diploma and use a wheelchair for mobility.
There are multiple camps for children with disabilities, but most young adults age out at age 18 or 21. Many campers miss this safe, adapted environment where they can enjoy activities with friends. Camp PossAbility exists to give young adults with physical disabilities a week to empower the mind, body, and spirit with social enrichment, outdoor adventure, and emotional support.
Can anyone recommend a site for finding free/severely discounted equipment for non-profits?? Looking for a few items for the adapted camp I'm starting (shower chair, basic wheelchair, 2 bed rails, & a long slide board).
