I know this gets asked a lot, BUT, I'm particularly looking for someone you know who is obviously good at his/her job, but who actually bothers turning up to quote in the first place! Having stayed in all day Friday for a builder to come and quote and again this morning (for the same builder I hasten to add), I'm a bit cheesed off! I'm just wondering what would happen if I didn't bother turning up for work and didn't let anyone know. Very frustrating! Over to you marvellous people. As you can see I need someone to replace my front garden fence asap & am keen to investigate options - i.e. replace whats there or replace with nicer wooden fence or red brick wall similar to one of my neighbours (shown in the photo's, depending on cost). I also have a number of other property maintenance type jobs that need completing so I'm keen to find someone who can help finish the bits of my house refurbishment I need help with. This includes; - Taking down the last part of a lean to & replacing with fence panel. - Hanging 2 x interior doors. - Fitting a new frame & door to boiler cupboard & fitting a piece of - plasterboard above. - cutting a piece of slate to size for fire place/sourcing & fitting a wood burner. - Boxing in electric & gas meter (& some pipes in corner of the kitchen). - Plaster skimming hallway/stairs walls. - some re landscaping of rear garden (to remove lots of concrete). If you've used someone who was reliable & good value for money please share their details.
