  Hello everyone :) I'm having a serious issue with ticks on my golden retriever.. Would appreciate any advice. I keep sending him to the groomer's (every week) have had anti tick medication/ shampoo put but still finding a minimum of 3 ticks a day on him and today a few were also crawling on the floor. He gets his coat brushed with a pin brush at least once a day and gets rubbed down with doggy wipes when he's back from doing his business . We've also had our garden sprayed ( killed all the grass, had to practically replant) and changed his bedding. Have no carpets in the house as its all tiled. He doesn't get on couches ( very well trained by Fawaz the dog whisperer ) Can anyone please help? We're getting desperate :( if there are still ticks in my garden, can anyone suggest a chemical that won't kill my grass again?

I've been trying for a whole month, with medications that potentially would help but she is the same, the vets don't know what she has, she had x-rays, ultra sounds and all types of analysis, I paid a huge amount of money and her belly is swollen and I feel that she is in pain.   This is a sensitive post, and difficult enough to write so please no nasty comments. My parents boxer dog is incredibly old, completely blind and unfortunately has skin growths that the vet won't operate on as of his age and the likely hood of him dying. He has become recluse and is very unhappy, we are looking at unfortunately putting him to sleep as it seems so unfair to see him suffer. My question is as he hates traveling (due to being blind) and gets very agitated, is there a vet that would come to the house rather than us take him?   Hi everyone! My husky is not feeling well, two days ago he vomited once, and since then he's been resting a lot and acting strange, not as active as usual. Now he's not eating properly and cannot go to the bathroom. I'm worried something might be stuck, any ideas what may be wrong? My usual vet that I trust is Modern Vet but they're fully booked for today. I booked for tomorrow but I think he needs to see someone today as I'm really worried about him. Can anyone recommend a really experienced vet who they've had a really positive experience with? Not just any vet please but someone who really knows what they're doing? As I've come across a few who didn't. Any help would be much appreciated! (Dubai, around al wasl road / beach road / Jumeirah area would be ideal).
