Where are you from and how did you get into this business?
My name is Jon Sparkman, and i'm from Bristol, UK.
I started doing photography when I was given a studio camera at my old printing lab job. Skip a few years on and now I'm a full time photographer.
Describe a typical work day for you?
Get up, watch some videos with breakfast then it's editing previous shoots, answering emails and then planning the next shoot or liaising with business partners.
From where do you draw your enthusiasm and inspiration for the job?
My dad was always into photography growing up, and I was always into art. I took a little bit of inspiration from both and decided that photography would be the best job for me. Every day is another opportunity to create something amazing, so i'm constantly enjoying every work day.
How can a customer ensure that they receive the best possible service from you?
I am available to be contacted most days thanks to the wonders of technology, and I do not try and dazzle clients with gimmicks and tricks. I have learnt how to take clean, crisp and beautiful photos each and every time, not hide my mistakes behind Photoshop.
