  Good evening folks ... We just got a call with this story .. If anyone has any advice or can assist please pm us here at the A.E.T in confidence. Is there anyone out there who can advise? A girl has just contacted me.. she's homeless due to domestic violence, separated from her partner but because her name is attached to a mortgage which is in arrears DCC and the SW say that she's not entitled to rent allowance or the Hap Scheme. She has been put on the homeless list but is terrified to go to a hostel. She is in a refuge at the minute but was due to leave over a month ago and fair play to them they have extended her stay but one more week is the best they can do for her as she's holding up the place of another woman who needs the service and then she's on the streets.. feel free to tag as you see fit. This poor girl is desperate
