The quintessential Maputo a Pé tour gives you in 2 hours a glance of the most important sights in the Baixa : Starting at the Cathedral, we'll cover the City Hall, the French Cultural Centre, the Iron House by Gustave Eiffel, Tunduru Gardens before we dive into the Municipal Market. Next is the Mosque in the Baixa before we admire the legandary Train Station. Crossing Workers' square and along Rua Bagamoyo - "the street that never sleeps" thru to the old get to the old Fort where we end our Tour. Can be "paired" with "I Spy" for family groups.
Art Safari
Experience Maputo's Art Scene of Today: Visiting a sample of the best murals, current exhibitions and artists' studios e.g Victor Sousa or Mabunda we traverse the city and meet the artists. Can be done on foot or by tuk tuk
Pancho Guedes
The best of Maputo's modern tropical of the city's most famous architect. Great for photo ops - usually starts on corner of Eduardo Mondlane visits a variety of his zanny "family of houses" and edificio. Starting at the Casa Dragao we'll discover the amazing details of buildings on Av. Tivane and Nkrumah before we finish at Pancho Guedes' most personal house - the one he built for himself, the Smiling Lion.
