I just posted this on the new website "recommendations" but not sure if anyone will see it:
A large pine in our backyard was struck by lightning last year. The tree wasn't looking great before the hit, and we thought our son's playhouse may have helped save the tree since we could see how the strike traveled around the tree house and down the fixed wooden ladder. The tree house was later removed (had been on the "to do" list) but it is becoming obvious that the tree is a goner. There is no new growth and the dark patches and dead branches are multiplying.
Recommendations for good tree removal folks and also what a ball-park price has been to remove a large pine (we will likely have a second one that also doesn't look good taken out).
Thanks!!
