  Freelance Photographer for hire? I am going to be in Ottawa on the 28th and wanted to hire a photographer for an hour or so to take some nice photos of me and my girlfriend on Parliament Hill and down by the canal. Does anyone have good recommendations? Ideally looking for a university student who has experience, can do some editing, wants to build up their profile and could use some $$ but isn’t Ansel Adams.   Check out Lexine Menard Photographie on Facebook. She did my wedding. She also does families, engagement etc. I'm sure she would like the extra experience. She's younger. When we hired her, we found out she had just graduated high school but she was AMAZING. She did not charge an arm and a leg. For my wedding, we used her for 3 hours. She charged us 350$ which included travel. (Ottawa to Portland (outside Perth) and back) Most other photographers were charging a few thousand. One guy quoted me 800$ + travel for a 4 hour *minimum* She was (and is) amazing and I highly recommend her! Her website: http://lexinephotographie.com/
