I have always had a love of photography. I started loving it more when a very good friend of mine took photography in High School and used me as a model for a project that she was doing. I was 16 at the time. She later graduated and went on to the University of Texas in Austin and we rarely seen or talked to each other, other than random comments or something on FaceBook. We would get together sometimes when she would come home to visit her folks and during one of these visits is when I decided that THIS IS IT! I wish I had a copy of the picture that made me decide right then that I was not going to let this dream of mine go.
Once I got my camera that I had been wanting for a very long time (thanks to my husband who spoils me) I got scared. I did not want to ask anybody to let me take their pictures. I just used my big fancy camera to take pictures of my kids playing sports and such. Until I was asked by a family member to take their Senior pictures. I beyond excited and when it was all said and done, I was hooked.
Shortly after that, my friend, the one that I look up to more than she will ever know. The one that has helped me to follow my dream gave me a gift that I will only ever be able to repay by continuing to follow this dream, and PAY IT FORWARD!
As I am still learning all kinds of things, I feel like I charge a lot less than what you will find anywhere else. If you have any other questions, please feel free to contact me, and please share my page.
