Not only were they unable to clean out a few roots from my drain, but the “experienced” $90/hr plumber and his completely useless $65/hr assistant (that let the snake flip flop and fly all over my finished basement did a poor job of cleaning up HIS mess) left after one and a half hours with the following advice: “ After speaking with my Harvey, (the owner) I regret to say that there is nothing more we can do. Your drain is completely blocked. Here’s a number for and excavation company and here’s a number for a company that provides high pressure steam cleaning for $1 500 if you want to take a chance and try another method, and, here’s your $350 bill.” I called the high-pressure company (Drain Québécois whom I highly recommend) that sent 2 competent employees over within minutes to unplug my drain with the proper tools and said I was good for the next 2 years. I held off on writing this review to give Harvey a chance to call me back and explain himself, but it’s now been 3 weeks since I left a message at his office calmly explaining the events that occurred and asking for some kind of rebate for the poor performance of his team.
