  Hi Guys, I posted on here a week or so ago about places to paint cars, and I was advised Bodycraft and Maypole. I have however, had quite bad experiences with both. Bodycraft had painted a previous car of mine when someone hit me, and I found later that they hadnt removed the body part to spray it and had sprayed with it fitted to the car and this left lines on the bonnet/front bumper etc where they had masked. I phoned Maypole twice to get someone to look at my car and the way they answered the phone to me was quite rude and I was put off dealing with them if I am honest. I went to Claremont Coachworks in Walton on Monday and they have quoted nigh on £1300 ex VAT for a job that I think is no more than £600-£700 absolute tops. Is there anyone out there, who paints cars, at a reasonable price and doesnt want to take you to the cleaners?

  I can really recommend Russell Kidd (07702 093932). He did a brilliant work on our car and price was good.
