  Hi guys. We've just bought a boat off someone in Cambridge and have spent the last few days driving it down towards London. We've had a problem with our electrics and our batteries are now dead. They've been fine for the last few days though. It seems like they just haven't received any charge from the engine. The people we bought it from have just replaced all the batteries and completed all the recommended work on the survey and are very trustworthy. I reckon it could just be a loose wire from changing the battery or a blown fuse or the like. The first sign of problems was that the display for the central heating was not working. Does anyone have any simple recommendations we can try before we get an engineer out? Falling that, does anyone know any reliable engineers who could come out to us at short notice in Watford?
