Unfortunately, veterinary care is expensive no matter where you go. People who choose not to pay their bills have ruined it for those of us who are responsible so you do have to pay upfront for services rendered. However they will work with you to some extent. For instance, when my dog contracted Parvovirus we knew it was going to be a hefty bill. They allowed me to pay $300 ish up front and I payed the rest when I picked him up a few days later. He arrived weak, scared, sick, and near death. He returned home happy, healthy, and most importantly alive. He hasn't had any health issues since then. This was a little less than year ago. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my super Cooper! If it is for anything equine related Dr. Kurtz is the man! He knows his stuff.
