I'm a mother of a special needs child. My passion is photography.
In 2014, I lost my job of 9 years due to maxing out my FMLA. My son requires lots of time away from work and school due to injuries, infusions, hospitalizations, surgeries, lengthy clinic visits, etc. It became very hard for me to manage a full-time job in the business field while also caring for his needs. I needed desperately to just be a mom. Losing my job was a blessing in disguise.
I started my photography business two months before I actually lost my job. Photography has given me the flexibility I need to care for my son. It has also given me time to just be a mom, and not an employee or medical mom all the time. I'm also able to be me and do something that I enjoy.
I love working with people from all different backgrounds and capturing special and unique moments for them. This is therapy for this special needs mom!
I am so thankful for each and every person who visits my business page and even considers choosing me to capture their precious moments.
