I'm looking for advice please about having my dog live with me in Bali. I've been told it's completely crazy and that it's completely fine. Hoping to hear from someone who knows from experience :) Thanks very much.

1. Difficult to bring them in, the process is not legal so it can cost anywhere from $3 k-$6 k 2. Hard to take them back home when you get sick and tired of Bali 3. dogs in particular are at risk because they get "hunted" for their meet (yes nice ones with western owners too) there are over 80 warungs marked RW in the island 4. and let's say he escapes only with broken bones and a split open head... then any day of the week while you are walking him on the beach he can decide to go explore and eat poison... that's how they "clean up" around here ... look at the https://www.facebook.com/349427302719 Bali Animal Welfare Association page and get some additional info, it is really not pretty.
