Hello, I'm Elise — a visual communicator, intrigued by people and ideas that can be captured and explored through beautiful Photography and Design.
I've never been one for selfies, rather, I'm fascinated by the way you can capture the true essence of a person, brand, or experience as an outsider — slipping into the background and getting those authentic candid shots, or just being casual and having a chat or a laugh, even during a cooperate portrait session! I really don't take myself too seriously as a photographer or designer — the best work comes from authenticity, and bringing good people and good ideas together, naturally.
During my 4 years of study for a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design, I was able to explore all aspects of Visual Communication including Photography, Graphic Design, Advertising, Experience Design, Copywriting, Web Design & Development, and Digital Video. Over the past 3 years I've been able to connect these skills with great projects and people as a professional, and I'm always looking for new opportunities!
