Looking for Help With Photo Restoration Hey, I have an old family photograph that has been pretty heavily aged and faded. The photo is a large format print framed at 50"x38". I know it's technically possible to chemically repair old prints like this but I'm having trouble finding any professional out there that can do this type of repair. All I can seem to find are digital repair shops and services, where they scan your photo, repair, and then reprint. Any suggestions, recommendations, referrals, etc? I live in the North East, possibly willing to drive quite a bit to have it looked at.
As an aside my gut feeling is that this kind of thing is usually done for historically significant, or collectible photographs, anyone know what this kind of thing would cost? I'm thinking it might end up being prohibitively expensive for sentimental value only.

For research purposes I would contact several of your major local art museums regarding who to contact, on the off chance that something like this could be used for training of Museum conservators. Most places I see online are oriented to conventional snapshots and prints. A better search is for art restoration services for example http://oliverbrothersonline.com/ I imagine this would get expensive
Looking for a quality local framing company (for pictures and photographs). Suggestions appreciated!
